THE FRUIT OF GOD'S GRACE
(Who and what the believer is in Christ - A compilation of verses!)
Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by
the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved
in heaven for you. Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time (1 Peter 1:3-5).
Toredeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the
Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir
of God through Christ (Galatians 4:5-7).
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve
the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:24).
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not
of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).
For it is God which worketh [Greek, energeo, to be active, to be efficient,
fervent, be mighty in, or work effectually] in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).
But ye shall
receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea,
and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy
nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy (1
Peter 2:9-10).
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure
of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through
his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace (Ephesians 1:5-7).
Now therefore ye are no more strangers
and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles
and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone (Ephesians 2:19-20).
Therefore being justified by faith, we havepeace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in
hope of the glory of God (Romans 5:1-2).
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into
his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of
the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we
shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might
be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin (Romans 6:3-6).
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are
in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:1).
And we know that all things work together for
good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to
be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren (Romans 8:28-29).
For as we have many
members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one
of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to
the proportion of faith (Romans 12:4-6).
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness,
and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30).
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which
is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God (1 Corinthians 2:12).
For who hath known the mind
of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16).
What? know ye not that your body
is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore
glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Now he which stablisheth us with you in
Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts (2 Corinthians 1:21-22).
For
the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all,
that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again (2 Corinthians 5:14-15).
Wherefore
come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive [Greek, eisdechomai,
to take into one's favor, or to accept] you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord
Almighty (2 Corinthians 6:17-18).
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the
life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
(Galatians 2:20).
Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians
1:3).
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before
him in love (Ephesians 1:4).
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the
good pleasure of his will (Ephesians 1:5).
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace
ye are saved) (Ephesians 2:5).
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians
2:6).
For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father (Ephesians 2:18).
Now therefore ye are no more strangers
and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God (Ephesians 2:19).
According to the eternal purpose
which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him (Ephesians 3:11-12).
Who
hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption
through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:13-14).
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from
generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among
the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:26-27).
Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the
faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving (Colossians 2:7).
And ye are complete in him, which is the
head of all principality and power In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body
of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ (Colossians 2:10-11).
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are
risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and
the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses (Colossians 2:12-13).
If
ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection
on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life,
shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory (Colossians 3:1-4).
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but
of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according
to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began (2 Timothy 1:9).
For
both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren (Hebrews
2:11).
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews
4:16).
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4).
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant
knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto
you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit
should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you (John 15:15-16).
Fear thou not; forI am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the
right hand of my righteousness (Isaiah 41:10).
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep [Greek, phroureo,
to be a watcher in advance, to mount a guard, post spies at gates, or to protect] your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians
4:7).
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of
good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33).
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole
spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
But the Lord
is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and
will do the things which we command you. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ (2
Thessalonians 3:3-5).
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed [Greek, metamorphoo,
to transform, to fashion figuratively, or to transfigure] into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord (2
Corinthians 3:18).
And the very God of peace sanctify [Greek, hagiazo, to make holy, to purify or consecrate, to venerate, or
to hallow] you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24).
But the fruit [Greek, karpos, fruit as
that which is plucked, to catch away or up, to pluck, or to take by force] of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,
goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23).
Much more then, being now justified [Greek, dikaioo, to render just or innocent, to free, or be made righteous] by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if,
when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life (Romans
5:9-10).
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all (Hebrews 10:10).
Christ
hath redeemed [Greek, exagorazo, to buy up, ransom, or to rescue from loss] us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us:
for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus
Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:13-14).
And they said, Believe on the Lord
Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house (Acts 16:31).
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and
whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified [Greek, doxazo, to render or esteem glorious,
to give dignity to, to consider full of glory, or to honour or magnify] (Romans 8:30).
And the very God of peace sanctify you
wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians
5:23).
AMEN!!!
